ADULTS JIU JITSU

Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art that emphasizes takedowns, ground fighting and grappling techniques. It's designed to empower practitioners with the ability to defend themselves, regardless of size or strength, by utilizing leverage and proper technique. It promotes physical fitness, mental discipline, and problem-solving skills while fostering a sense of community and respect among its practitioners.

KIDS JIU JITSU

Jiu Jitsu isn’t just for adults. In fact, it’s the perfect activity for kids! This form of martial arts equips kids with the invaluable self-defense skills. Jiu Jitsu empowers a smaller individual to fight against a larger opponent. But the advantages don’t stop there – Jiu Jitsu helps kids gain confidence, learn discipline, focus their energy, foster respect for others, and be a part of a one-of-a-kind community full of future friends and mentors!

TEENS JIU JITSU

We have Jiu Jitsu programs to meet the needs of teens as well as kids! Jiu Jitsu is a full body work that will strengthen body and mind. The martial arts provide an advantage that no other sport can boast about – the value of respect. Respect for both oneself and others is embedded into everything martial arts does. At Roots Combat Club, students are expected to be respectful on and off the mat, receive constructive feedback with a positive attitude, always try their hardest, and encourage their classmates and training partners.

KICKBOXING

Kickboxing is a dynamic and versatile martial art that incorporates punches, kicks, knee strikes, and elbows. It's a high-energy combat sport that not only enhances physical fitness but also cultivates striking skills and defensive techniques. Whether practiced for self-defense, sport, or fitness, kickboxing provides a challenging and empowering experience for individuals of various skill levels.

FITNESS

Ready to get your heart rate up? Roots Combat Club’s Fitness class is the place to be.  No matter how old you are, what prior experience you may have, or how athletic you consider yourself, our fitness class is the perfect fit to condition your existing skills or start from the bottom and build endurance. Our Fitness class incorporates a wide range of exercises, including jogging, jumping rope, squats, planks, and various forms of interval training. We are constantly learning new moves and incorporating different drills, so you’ll never get bored.

ROOTS WOMEN’S FITNESS BOXING

Boxing is incredibly empowering for females as it builds strength and boosts confidence. Women’s Fitness Boxing at Roots Combat Club offers a full body workout for all skill levels by combining boxing basics with a variety of strength and conditioning exercises. This high-energy class includes shadow boxing, heavy bag striking, mitt-work, weightlifting, HIIT, and endurance cardio. You will receive a high level of cardio, muscle strength, sharp reflexes, and a focused mind.

ROOTS WRESTLING

Wrestling is a centuries-old sport centered around close-contact grappling, throws, and takedowns. Challenging participants both physically and mentally. Wrestling not only builds physical strength and endurance but also instills discipline, resilience, and strategic thinking in its practitioners.
